Tugas Life Skill "Jual-Beli Dalam Pandangan Islam" -Dalam Bahasa Inggris/In English

Islam is a religion that justifies the trade but Islam forbids riba.
As Allah says in Sura Al - Baqarah verse 275 :

وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا
"Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest."

Riba means Interest. Riba is forbidden in Islamic economic jurisprudence (fiqh) and considered as a major sin. Simply, unjust gains in trade or business, generally through exploitation.
Allah says in Sura Ali - Imron verse 130 :

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَأْكُلُواْ الرِّبَا أَضْعَافًا مُّضَاعَفَةً وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
"O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful."

Trade is a contract made by the seller and the buyer. Trading law in Islam is Sunnah. There are requirements to trade in Islam, some of them are:
1.
The buyer knows the goods and the price of the goods.
2. Price has been agreed by the buyer and the seller.
2. There is no compulsion from the buyer and the seller.
3. Trade does not interfere with worship.
4. The goods must be halal.
5. Trade in order to get blessing.
6. The most important, trade honestly.

Rasulullah SAW is a honest trader. So he gets the title of 'Al - Amin' by the people who know him. We should trade like him. Be honest, friendly and indulgent that we be traders who always favored by buyers
